The Westover Shore to Shore Relay offered an exciting challenge for teams of runners and walkers to travel 333 km through rural countrysides from the shores of Lake Erie in Port Stanley to the shores of Lake Huron in Grand Bend. This unique event provided participants with a rewarding experience and friendly competition, while raising funds for the treatment of addictions to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs at the Westover Treatment Centre in Thamesville, Ontario.
Thanks to all participants, sponsors and others for your support of this event. Together, we raised thousands of dollars towards treatment of addictions in our community and helped re-build people's lives to become healthy and productive members of society.
Just like the relay, recovery is a long road and relies on team support.
